10.03.2015 QA.

Not much today either. Very good news for Czechoslovak players though... the T 40 medium tank technical drawings for implementation purposes are ready and they are glorious. Now comes modelling.

-Storm considers the statement that current (old) physics system in WoT is sufficient "very debatable";
-It's possible that the players will in the future be able to login with more accounts than the types brought to EU and RU by 0.9.6.3 minipatch;
-The temporary premium tanks on the Russian server work like this: they stay in your hangar until you remove them manually. After the time limit, you can't play them. You also apparently have to spend gold on removing any equipment you used on it;
-Temporary premium tanks come with temporary garage slots, that disappear after the tank gets removed by the player;
-If you already have the premium tank and you complete the mission that awards you with the same tank for a limited amount of time, you will get no compensation.

The whole point of this "temporary premium tank" mechanism is according to developers the option of actually trying that tank out before you buy it.

  1. Okay I see now... EU and RU get access to login with social networks so we can socialize more,, instead of wasting our time logging in daily for a premium tank.! Hurr Durr.. [/sarcasm]

    On a serious note however.. Social networks (SOMETIMES) are just plain stupid in my opinion >.> At the very least, they don't force us to use them, or give us a need as in "10000 Gold if you connect with Facebook and let us spam it!"

    1. It is much more harder to sell account connected to FB than only to email.

    2. I made a skype account with facebook, never ever again. It basically ruined any ability to use anything on it, not in the least being unable to log in to the skype andriod app (which doesnt have a facebook login option) i see even less reason to tie a game account to facebook.

    Ah, don't we have a test server for this kind of thing? I try out anything of "value" on the test server before i buy it. I got burned by the e-100 once. Thought it would be better than the E-75... wasn't for me. Waste of 6 mil credits.

    1. Because doing that like Gaijin did it is not an option....

    2. Test server doesn't have realistic vehicle spread, gold usage, etc. It's always better to test it on the live server in live games (which also answers Woras's concern - testing it on solo map or with friend is nice, but live server 15vs15 is something else)

    3. Woras concern?
      Hell woras is back!

    4. Woras >> Except in test drives nobody is shooting at you. And you can't earn credits from it. You're pretty much driving around blowing up sitting ducks.

  4. but it saved WG the bandwith to distribute the testsercer client.

    So its cash cow within a cash cow.
    Sounds like those Russian dolls to me (barushka or so)

    1. You have to remove it manually - you can just never remove it and wait until you buy it, then you can access the equipment again. In the worst case you never remove it and you just lose credits for buying equipment (though why'd you do that I don't get, but people are different)

      Hope I understand it right.

    2. I think you're right, that's the way I understand it as well. Funny how people have no problem removing equipment with their own gold from regular tanks, but as soon as something like this comes around, it's a problem.

    3. How often u have two remove stuff before prem time or even an tank becomes more usefull?

      Spending money on money makers defeats the point. Thats why i never got more than 4xapcr MAX on those ...if not even none at all.

      Dead tank -8000
      Apcr -2000 per shot...

      U See where this is going?

  7. I wonder how would they implement that T 40...

  10. Owners of Wg is going to cash out and retire comfortably in the Caribbeans
    Despite having 500kk in revenue, there is no PVE no roaming except for supertesters who came to NA sever to troll, insult and grief players..

    After SS jumps ship for AW,WG gives out free SU100y for daily logins.
    Thats full blown panic mode right there.

    Debatable? It's almost entirely wrong.
    As it is, even the maps with the most accessible terrain are probably what, only 80-90% usable because of the climb angle limit? Maybe slightly more with the faster LTs in the game able to throw themselves up the inclines?

    And then there's the tank movement. How is the suspension not working as tank suspension should - that is, it currently absorbs very few of the bumps on the ground - "sufficient"?

    The handbrake being "sufficient" in current physics can't even be argued, because it doesn't exist. I will admit, though, if there's a single thing in the new physics that is likely to go horribly wrong in terms of game balance, it'll be the handbrake and all tanks having access to it.

  12. Could you figure out the specials for the this and or next month for the EU special? If so that'd be great.

  13. For this rent a tank thing, I would rather imagine something like you pay 10 gold and get to try the tank out for 24 hours. after the countdown is over, the tank dissapeares like event tanks do , and you could only do it once per tank ( to prevent renting the tank instead of buying it . That would be useful to try the thing out on the live server, cause on tests, it's usually only good to see it's characteristics , but not how they perform in their matchmakings.

    And no, it's not pay-to-win, it's and it would make WG happy too. And honestly, it's still better to pay 10 gold to try a tank out then to buy it then realize that it's not what you really wanted.

      And this 1c per tank?
      ... U know how many prems are there?
      WeekendPREMwarriors ahead.

      Wg never does that.
      Also auto remove? lol+1

      There is a reason they force u to manual remove...... $

    2. I wonder what's so funny ... and I don't get ...

      Yes, I know how many premiums there are, and the point if the whole thing would be to try the premium tank out for a day on the LIVE servers ..

      Also, it is not-at-all that easy to do this "mission" , cause I'm pretty sure it's not so simple to kill 2 tanks and hit 3 other tanks in 25 games in a row ... especially you have 3 days to complete this whole thing ...

      Also, explane me that reason .. cause I have no idea ... but I would remove it anyways, cause there is abloslutely no reason I want to look at a tank in my garage that I can't play with ... makes no sense to me...
